The basic requirements for applicants are as follows:
Age at least 18 years and a valid radio operator's license.
Currently valid medical fitness assessment at least II. classes in accordance with PART-MED.
Ownership of a pilot's license and minimum PPL qualification and fulfillment of theoretical knowledge requirements within the scope of CPL certification, especially in the following areas:
- Air Law
- Aircraft General Knowledge
- Flight Performance and Planing
- Mass and Balance
- Performance
- Flight Planing and Monitoring
- Human Performance and Limitations
- Meteorology
- General Navigation
- Radio Navigation
- Operational Procedures
- Principles of Flight
- Communication
The applicant's aviation experience has a total of at least 200 hours as a pilot. In addition, out of the total hourly volume, they must:
- Minimum 150 hrs as a Pilot in Command flight time.
- At least 30 hours must be flown on single-engine piston aircraft, of which 5 hours must be flown in the last 6 months.
- To fly for at least 20 hours as a pilot-in-command of navigation flights, including a navigation flight of at least 540 km with a full stop at two foreign airports.
- At least 10 hours to fly in instrument flight training, of which a maximum of 5 hours was instrument ground time, or time at the FNPT or flight simulator.
- Passing the special proficiency test as amended by Appendix 9 to PART-FCL and passing a special entrance flight test with a qualified flight instructor in accordance with FCL.930.FI.
- For FI (H) licensees, 55 out of 100 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction can be included in the total volume, including advanced examinations.
